This is an outline of the rules of the competition (verbatim from the Adaluz site):

- Being between the ages of 16 to 22 years old.
- All of the contestants must be of Mexican origen or Mexican descendents.
- Single with no kids
- Should be able to speak fluent spanish
- Reside in the state of Nevada
- Pay a registration fee of $300.00
